About the North Metro Corridor EIS:

In August 2006, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD) initiated the North Metro Corridor EIS. The RTD FasTracks North Metro Corridor is a proposed 18-mile rail transit corridor between Denver Union Station and 162nd Avenue, passing through Denver, Commerce City, Thornton, see a larger versionNorthglenn and unincorporated Adams County. Click here for more information.

At the public scoping meetings in September 2006, numerous comments were received from stakeholders in the corridor.  In response to this input, additional alternatives are now under consideration.  The quantitative results summary of scoping comments can be seen here.

Did you miss the September 2006 North Metro Corridor EIS scoping meetings? Would you like to see what occurred and what is happening now?

If so, the project team has created a “virtual scoping meeting” that provides an overview of the FasTracks program; a description of the proposed action, EIS process, and basic engineering tasks; and a summary of the public scoping meetings held on September 27 and 28, 2006.

If you would like to request a copy of the DVD, please email or phone 303-313-9488.

Online Discussion Forum

The North Metro Corridor project team is hosting an online discussion forum for the community to browse and post focused questions, or actively submit questions or initiate dialogue where others can participate. Visit the forum.
